The Hale Lutheran Cemetery has received a cemetery directory book that was published by Mr. James Seidelman and Ms. Sue Feltes.
The book is kept in the church library and can be accessed by visiting the church. Hale Lutheran Cemetery is what the sign along the north side of the cemetery says. While the entrance has moved slightly away from the original location and the cemetery has expanded to the east, one thing has remained a constant on the hallowed grounds where we have laid loved ones to rest for 134 years, diligent care of their resting place. Records for our cemetery are well kept, have been handed down over the generations and remain accessible to those seeking information on our ancestors buried here. Our sexton, Allen Rongstad, oversees the maintenance of the cemetery grounds with the assistance of his wife, Becky, and a few other volunteers throughout the year. Allen is always willing to do his best to help those who seek additional information about our cemetery. He can be reached at 715-694-2187. The Elk Creek Lutheran Cemetery gratefully accepts donations to help to continue providing wonderful care for our cemetery. |
